Planks
Planks are the current-era policy levers we propose to move the outcomes. Each is tagged with the outcomes it serves, the principle behind it, and a review trigger — the conditions that would make us revisit it. A plank that stops moving its outcome is a candidate for sunset.
Most planks are open drafts — that's deliberate and transparent. Shaping and prioritizing them with members is on the roadmap; for now this is where the thinking is written down in the open.
Party Planks System — what we're building show progress
The tools that will let people read the platform, say what matters most, see how they and the candidates line up, and ultimately help shape the planks themselves. Built in the open, in parallel with the rest of the roadmap. Here's where each piece stands.
PFE-0 Read the platform ✓ 3/3
Goal: Anyone can browse and search the planks — no account needed
- Every plank shown with its position, principle, outcomes, and review trigger
- Filter planks by outcome and by principle
- Search planks; link straight to any plank
PFE-1 Members & what matters 0/4
Goal: People can join and tell us which planks matter most — and we surface where left and right already agree
- Member accounts (email to start; stronger verification later)
- Rank which planks matter most to you
- See what everyone prioritizes, overall
- Surface cross-party agreement — where right- and left-leaning members converge
PFE-2 Your alignment 0/2
Goal: See how your own positions line up with the platform
- State your position on each plank
- "Your alignment with the platform" view
PFE-3 Candidates & scorecards 0/3
Goal: See how candidates from both parties align with the platform — and with you
- Map candidates to planks (voting records + questionnaires)
- "How does this candidate align — with the platform, and with me?"
- Public legislator scorecards against the active platform
PFE-4 Shape the planks 0/4
Goal: The community proposes, debates, and amends the planks — Wikipedia-style, with vetted stewards
- Propose new planks and positions
- Vote to elevate proposals
- Steward review and editorial workflow
- A real amendment process for changing the platform

Executives of companies deemed critical to daily American life or national strategic capability are personally accountable for: deceptive or extractive practices against the public; refusal to invest in strategic capabilities solely on profitability grounds; hoarding or degrading natural or commercial resources; selling products a reasonable person would find materially harmful.
-
Vigorous antitrust enforcement, including in industries where consolidation has produced extractive pricing power (food, healthcare, housing, tech). Draft.

A definition of "reasonable" tax policy — progressive structure, closing specific loopholes, a simplified code. Still being drafted.

Invest in strategic infrastructure and industrial capacity even when private-sector profitability isn't there. Open question: federal board seats on companies deemed critical to daily American life or strategic capability — does any peer country (China, Norway, Singapore, France) do this in a form worth borrowing?
-
Strengthen FARA enforcement, restrict foreign-aligned ownership in strategic sectors, and expand disclosure of foreign-source funding to think tanks, NGOs, and political activity. Draft.
